The Path To Wellness

Do you complain about wanting to be healthy but don’t know how to start? Do you start off with lots of enthusiasm, bent on this time being the time that you will actually stick to your program and three months later are back where you started?

I know about this problem! I know lots of people who have these problems. That’s why I developed Wellness In Action, a workshop to guide you through the process of converting your deepest desires to be healthy into a personalized, very do-able program that you design yourself and then give structures that help you keep them in place for as long as you like.

I am a chiropractor. I work with people everyday that have problems that can be helped with lifestyle adjustments as well as chiropractic care. I simply do not have the time in my office to give chiropractic care and be their wellness coach.

I have over 20 years experience actively developing myself through numerous personal growth seminars, workshops, and support groups. I have a certain passion in listening to what people want, drawing out what they are ready to commit to, and supporting them to be successful.

I am very excited to bring to you the skills I have developed as a health practitioner and as a life-coach. My goal is to help create a time and place where you can lay down a foundation of what you truly want for the rest of your life, in terms of your health, and to get started in a way that has you be excited and alive!

Here’s a more in-depth explanation of each class:

The Schedule

The first of four classes is spent illustrating why five pillars of health (exercise, nutrition, rest/rejuvenation, positive mental attitude, and healthy spine/nervous system) are important to a wellness lifestyle through scientific research, stories, and analogies. At the end of this
class, you will feel inspired and excited to take action due to being exposed to the amazing benefits of each of these aspects of health.

The second class inquires into true commitment levels for each of these categories using surveys, questionnaires, and feedback. At the end of this class, you will have a clear picture as to which area(s) of health you are ready to dive into, which ones you have little interest, and the freedom to know that moving at your own pace is perfectly ok.

The third class offers time to discuss multiple lists of professionally recommended routines. The participants will challenge each other to choose appropriate activities for their level of commitment. At the end of this class, you will have a personalized selected list of activities from each area of health that are all aligned with your levels of commitment. The homework this week will be to schedule your selected action items into your planner or scheduler.

The fourth and final class underlines the value of setting rewards and consequences for each task and asking for support from people to hold them accountable in order to assure success at achieving their goals. At the end of this class, you will have structures in place (rewards, consequences, support/accountability) to secure your success of attaining your goals.
